Born Mantford Bridge England 08/15/1814. America 1844 Racine 1844-1846, Manitowoc 06/18/1846. Blacksmith 1846-1848 Wagonmaker. When he arrived there were only 21 buildings in the village and lighthouse was being built. Married in 1833 and 1845. 12/22/1887. Wife died 09/10/1896.
