Born in Steuben County, NY, o9/28/1853. When old enough he attended Woodhull Academy, and after finishing his course he taught in that institution. In 1873-74 was studying dentistry under his father, W R Hubter. He practiced first in Addison. In August, 1880, he came to Hayton. In 1874 he married Miss I R Pulsifer. They have 1 child, Mamie. He belongs to the Masonic Lodge, and was County Surveyor in Steuben County.
