This excellent jewelry house was founded by the above firm in 1870. In 1870 by the death of the senior member, it passed into the management of Mr H F Liebenow. It is one of our oldest and most reliable business houses. Mr Liebenow carries a large stock of jewelry, watches, silverware, diamonds, etc. He does a large repair business. Uniting a keen knowledge of his business with a sense of strict commercial integrity, he has won for himself a name second to none in the business circle of Manitowoc. He has the honor of being among the very youngest of those who were in the Rebellion and has to his credit a record of active service from August 1862-1865 and is now quarter-master of the Hiram M Walker G A r Post. He is also an Odd Fellow.
