a deaf mute boy was on Wednesday a.m. at Manitowoc to procure a load of brushwood from Worfel's brickyard and was to cross the NW RR tracks when suddenly the locomotive and 7 freight cars came at them; the horse was hit by the locomotive and died on the sopt; the boy who had the reins in his hand was thrown and as a result had his fingers crushed and as a result injuried  #179
